About Emma Hogan
Emma began dancing at the age of five, she has been part of the competitive world of Ballroom and Latin American dancing for most of her life. Emma qualified as a professional Ballroom and Latin American teacher through the United Kingdom Alliance of Dance Teachers in 2002, she is also a fully qualified freestyle instructor.
Emma is the Director and Principal teacher of Dance in Motion Dance Academy. The school is very proud of the young generation of dancers that have developed through its teaching programmes. Dance in Motion’s young dancers have represented Ireland on the international stage and have received outstanding results, having made many prestigious WDSF( World Dance Sport Federation) finals and semi-finals. Austrian Open and German Open to name but a few, with their dancers having rankings of 13th place on the world standard stage.
Emma is qualified to adjudicate at the highest level Nationally & has proudly represented Ireland adjudicating on many International Panels in Spain , Bulgaria and Slovenia to name a few.
She is passionate about dance & the development of her pupils. Her passion, competitive experience & her educational credentials have led to the successful growth of Dance in Motion. Emma is now very excited and proud to be included as part of the wonderful teaching team at Phoenix.

Sean Smullen & Aimie Leak
Ballroom
Sean Smullen and Aimie Leak started their journey together on 19th February 2014. They are Ireland’s top ranked couple and compete internationally at the highest level.
They are 6x Irish National Champions, Ranked top 5 in the world, and Bronze Medallists at the World Championships in 2019 -
Emma Hayward
Ballet
Has been dancing since a young age and trained in Cecchetti and RAD. Emma has danced rolls in the Nutcracker and Giselle. In 2013 Emma enrolled in the Full time program training in the Vaganova method with Monica Loughman which included training here in Ireland and St Petersburg with teachers from the Vaganova.
In 2016 Emma graduated with a distinction from the Full Time training program. Emma has been teaching ballet at Phoenix performing arts college for 7 years.

Naoise Hogan Stout
Ballroom
Naoise is one of Ireland’s top Dancesport athletes. She has been crowned national champion in all of the standard age categories, from Juvenile to Adult.
Naoise’s highest world ranking in the WDSF standard rankings was in October 2021 where she ranked 12th place in Junior Standard.
She is a regular WDSF finalist and has reached the top 48 in the Youth standard category of the prestigious German Open.
She has a passion for teaching and loves instilling all of her knowledge in younger children.
